Vintage jewelry R.M. Jordan & Co 1942-1950s

R.M. company Jordan was based in Providence, Rhode Island and made silver accessories and gold-plated jewelry with crystal inlays.

Jordan made her jewelry in a floral style, art deco style.

Art Deco or Art Nouveau (fr. modern – new) is an artistic style in art that arose in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Characteristic features are decorativeness, smoothness of lines, roundness of forms, flexibility and fluidity.

From the surviving posters of the mid-forties, it is known that the company carried out advertising campaigns.
