If you haven’t met British designer duo Tatty Devine, get ready to fall in love with their eccentric world of color and whimsy. Known for their work in materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, and more, Tatty Devine has definitely taken jewelry to the next level.
Tatty Devine was founded in 1999 by two British designers and was immediately loved by girls around the world for its unusual and fun designs.
The brand has recently started collaborating with British artist Laura Callahan, and today they are ready to present their new collection. Callahan’s work is characterized by the use of watercolor and ink to work out the details. In her paintings, the artist illustrates women in their everyday lives with a subtle sense of humor and excitement. Harriet Vine, designer and co-founder of Tatty Devine, says of Callahan’s work:
Her playful watercolor paintings, which I first saw at Callahan’s exhibition “Aspirational,” caught my attention. At that moment, I realized that these paintings could serve as inspiration for a whole line of jewelry.
A small collection called “Girls” consists of three pendants and a brooch representing the lives of modern women.
You can buy these pieces in the brand’s online store for prices ranging from $34 to $100, depending on the model.
