Four generations of masters have changed at the head of the jewelry house – and now the change is growing. Its founders were the jeweler brothers Joseph and Anton Hemmerle, who opened their workshop in Munich in 1893.
Among the clients of the brand was the Bavarian Royal Court.
Soon they opened their own store on one of the main streets of Munich, Maximilianstrasse, house eighteen. There it is located now, together with the workshops. The heirs of the Hemmerle house never tire of repeating that this place is full of mysteries – not so long ago, Christian and Jasmine Hammerle discovered there a whole box of old stamps for orders, which were later reworked to create modern stylish jewelry.
Since the time of the classics, Hemmerle’s style has undergone a serious evolution, and their collections of naturalistic jewelry have brought worldwide love to the brand.
Home designers draw inspiration from quite ordinary things: who would have thought that radishes, cauliflower and artichokes could look so appetizing not only on a plate, but also on an evening dress!
Copper, stainless steel and unusual types of wood create an expressive backdrop for rare stones or already found objects, such as cameos from the 18th century or miniature Egyptian mosaics. This combination gives Hemmerle products a liveliness that forms their distinctive style.
