Sorrelli was founded in 1983 by Lisa Oswald, who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Starting by creating fun jewelry for herself and friends, Lisa quickly came to the decision to start her own design studio. In a small Brooklyn loft, Lisa designed and crafted original jewelry that became popular with New York’s bohemian crowd. Lisa’s twin sisters, who were engaged in marketing and advertising of the new company, were involved in the case. In the late 80s, Lisa and her husband Kernet moved to Pennsylvania. In an old building of the 18th century, the couple open a jewelry design studio and continue the development of the family business.
