The history of the Sajen silver jewelry brand
Sajen was founded in 1987 in Bali by American jewelry artists Marianne and Richard Jacobs. The talented Jacobs couple managed to combine European vintage style, Southeast Asian art, natural stones and precious metals.
This couple has always traveled a lot, they found their inspiration in the mysterious island of Bali, as well as in the Indian city of jewelers Jaipur. In these places, since ancient times, the art of carving on bone, wood and stone has been very developed. This allowed them to combine their knowledge of stones with ancient traditions and translate them into masterpieces of jewelry art.

Features of Sajen Jewelry
Sajen jewelry depicts goddesses, nature spirits, totem animals. The motif of the faces is combined with a complex setting of precious and semi-precious stones. All the stones from which the products were made, Marianna collected from her trips around the world. Therefore, each decoration is unique,
You will not be able to find exactly the same, it will certainly differ in combination, color or pattern of natural stone. It should also be noted the magnificent bone carving – such handmade jewelry is distinguished by unusually warm energy.

There were three lines of jewelry: 925 silver, 585 gold, and a limited collection of bronze. All three lines impressed with their combination of various ethnic motifs, craftsmanship and subtlety of work, rich colors and fantastic stones.
Closing Sajen
In the mid-2000s, Marianne and Richard began working for Richline Group Inc to create luxury jewelry. For this reason, the Sajen brand ceased to exist. Since then, the products of this brand can be found in vintage boutiques and collectors.

Not so long ago, designers returned to the jewelry market with their new jewelry collection. She is also beautiful, but already in many ways different from the very Sajen, which was admired by collectors of the world. Therefore, the hunt for the very first collections of the Jacobs couple continues.
Sajen is a truly unique brand that has grown into a whole style direction and still has many imitators. Sajen fakes are becoming more and more common, they can be seen on many well-known online sites and in stores. Now it comes to the fact that craftsmen copy the brand and markings. Only a specialist in the characteristic features of the brand’s jewelry can determine the authenticity of the product.
