Jewelry artist, interior designer and decorator Kira Demur was born in Turkmenistan, where she graduated from an art school and an art institute. Kira absorbed the traditions of Central Asian culture from childhood, and then studied jewelry design in Europe. In Russia, the artist worked with the Fashion House of Valentin Yudashkin and designer Elena Teplitskaya.
In the work of Kira Demur, fashionable European trends are subtly combined with the originality of the East, giving birth to jewelry chords from precious stones, silver and artistic craftsmanship.
According to Kira, working on jewelry is always intuitive: “I listen to my feelings when I look at the stones. I touch them, and the stones themselves suggest the image that I embody. It’s an amazing, magical process. I believe that natural stones store the codes of the Universe. Communicating with them is a real sacrament.”
