At the beginning of his career, Rodrigo Otazu worked as a model for Calvin Klein. Later, the Argentinean became the founder of the brand of the same name and first came to the attention of the press almost 20 years ago, creating pearl necklaces that interested Australian Vogue. Later, having moved to Amsterdam, Rodrigo began to create jewelry from diamonds and silver, distinguished by a distinctive style.
The jeweler’s works reflect architecture, music, travel, and art. To create his masterpieces, Rodrigo uses Venetian glass, Swarovski crystals, as well as natural stones: onyx, jasper, jade. Rodrigo Otazu has collaborated with Christian Lacroix, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Viktor & Rolf brands, with world show business stars – Kylie Minogue, Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Naomi Campbell, Kelis, Destiny’s Child, Britney Spears, and also created jewelry for the main characters of the film Sex and The City 2. Today, Otazu collections are sold in the largest cities of the world.

Obviously, in understanding the versatility of women’s nature – his collections are closely intertwined with individuality and drama, American classics and French chic. Rodrigo Otazu draws inspiration during his round-the-world travels, and perhaps that is why his jewelry and accessories are charming, seductive and remain beyond the boundaries of fleeting trends.
“I am self-taught and I have my own distinctive style,” says Rodrigo. “For me, design is about sensations, feelings that I have to share.”
