The jewelry company that produced jewelry under the MIZPAH brand was founded by two brothers in England. The name MIZPAH means “I will always be by your side”.

Brooches, rings, bracelets with the word “mitzpah” or with a full quote from the Bible were loved by thousands of people. Hundreds, thousands of pendants, brooches, bracelets with such an inscription were given to each other by people who went to war and sent their loved ones on long trips. For many years and even centuries, the word “mizpah” has been relevant to many, as it symbolized a safe return for those who are away from their relatives. Not surprisingly, Mizpah jewelry first peaked in the Victorian era of exploration and travel. It was during this time that the largest number of Mizpah jewelry was made.

Jewelry was made from a variety of materials: bronze, brass, silver, gold. After the reign of Queen Victoria in the British Empire, Mizpah jewelry was particularly popular during the Boer War and World Wars I and II.
