The decision to create her own jewelry brand came to Lisa Sadughi after the jewelry she created for the J.Crew brand increasingly appeared on the pages of famous fashion magazines. Lisa created jewelry for the J.Crew brand for 5 years, starting in 2006. The designer brand Lele Sadoughi was created in 2012 designer jewelry immediately debuted on Moda Operandi.

Lele Sadoughi’s products organically intertwine a clear line of design from the post-industrial era, the unrivaled quality of antique jewelry with the emotions of travel mixed with romance and fantasy. Bright, bold shapes, natural stones and hand-cut crystals are the basis for Lele’s signature products.

Lele’s passion for jewelry was fostered during her tenure at Ippolita in 2005, where she worked on designing personal labels for Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic and Club Monaco. In 2006, Lele signed an agreement with J.Crew to create her first jewelry collection.

Lisa (Lele) Sadughi is originally from Dallas, Texas. The designer currently lives in the West Village of New York. Her designs have already graced the covers of publications such as Vogue, Instyle, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Lucky, Interview, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, WSJ Magazine, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and countless other respected print and online publications.
