The Ichien company was founded in 2008 in the capital of Russia, Moscow. It got its name in honor of the founder, ideological inspirer and chief designer of the brand Ichien, which literally means “one look” in Chinese.
The idea to create a unique jewelry brand that will guard the wishes of the client, create unique, but at the same time affordable jewelry, came to the founder back in 2006. At the time, Ichien Ballag was living in India. Perhaps it was the spirit of this country that inspired him and opened his own jewelry production.
In India, the future founder of the jewelry brand met a Zen Master and became his loyal student. The new philosophy, values and outlook on life have now become the second “I” of the young man. The doctrine was based on the acceptance of the essence of things, the knowledge of the “core”, the most valuable and important.
Here Ichien became interested in painting, poured wax figurines, many of which were then embodied in jewelry made of metal and stone. But this happened a little later, upon returning to Moscow. After opening his atelier, a still young and unknown jewelry designer set to work: he found and gathered together a team of professionals, rented a room and began to create.
Ichien today: exclusive in every stone
After 7 years of successful work, the brand has taken its own niche in the Russian jewelry market. Its products are aimed at the discerning consumer who is not afraid of experimentation. Openwork details, bright enamel, unusual cut stones – this is what distinguishes jewelry under the name Ichien among many others.
All of them are developed in a workshop located in the very center of the capital. The flow of clients is growing every year. This is facilitated by an individual approach to each customer, an attentive attitude to all his wishes, modern manufacturing techniques, which determine the high quality of the final product.
All collections can be roughly divided into three types: individual works of authorship, limited editions and high art jewelry. The uniqueness and uniqueness of even single works does not prevent them from being collected together, into one self-sufficient ensemble. Despite the variety of wishes of customers, the hand of the master is still felt in every ring, brooch, necklace or earring.
Parallel reality jewelry
Perhaps the most famous and unusual creation of the master Ichien can be considered the “Bullfinch” ring. This piece of high jewelery art in white gold with inlays of diamonds, topaz, rubies and colored sapphires is unique. Each element resonates with the philosophy of its creator: bullfinches with scorched butterfly wings can tell a lot.
Ichien’s creative freedom is also evident in his other creations. Rings with butterflies made of multi-colored stones, covered with enamel and decorated with an “animal” print became the visiting card of the master. Rich collections of colored pearls have already been appreciated by the fair sex.
