Future jeweler Lika Behar was born in Istanbul. This magnificent city, founded at the time of the birth of Anatolian civilizations and now transformed into a cosmopolitan metropolis, has left its imprint on the creativity of Lika Behar.
Lika Behar grew up in a family of legendary gold dealers, a trade that has long been considered vital to the Mediterranean. It’s no surprise, then, that her jewelry collections are crafted using ancient techniques and are made entirely from 24-karat gold. The result is exclusive forged jewelry with a sensual and tactile modernism.
Hereditary goldsmith – designer Lika Behar uses only 24-karat gold in her work, which, as a result of special processing, acquires a luxurious dark yellow color, ideal for the modern woman. Lika also likes to use colored gemstones, set in such a special way that they are able to reflect different shades that are reminiscent of the colors of the deep sea.
