Hutton Wilkinson was born in Los Angeles, California to a family of architects. At the age of 18, he began working with the famous American artist, designer Tony Duquette (Tony Duquette). They jointly designed the interiors of an 18th century Parisian apartment located on Place Bourbon in Paris and the interiors of the 12th century Palazzo Brandolini on the Grand Canal in Venice. Hutton Wilkinson handled a ranch upgrade project for Sophia Loren in Thousand Oaks.
In 1998, Wilkinson and Duquette, at the invitation of the Bergdorf store, created a collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry that was well received by the public and the press. Wilkinson was the designer of these pieces. His jewelry projects were noticed: they were worn by stars at gala receptions: Liza Minnelli, Sharon Stone, Drew Barrymore and others.
Hutton Wilkinson jewelry used both natural materials: pearls, corals, crystal, and artificial materials: resin, crystals.
