Grete Prytz Kittelsen was a remarkable Norwegian designer, enamel artist and jeweler. Grete was born in Norway in 1917 into the family of a hereditary jeweler and also chose a creative path for herself. She created lacquer silver jewelry. Grete was inspired in her work by the clear and simple colors and shapes of American design. So she is known for creating beautiful dishes. Unfortunately, Grete herself passed away in 2010, but she left a rich design legacy.
