In the heart of Florence, among the lush green hills of Tuscany, there is a small workshop. It is here that FerriFirenze’s master jewelers work, creating designs for modern women in all corners of the world, bringing them to life using ancient handicraft techniques.
The brand was founded by Ilaria Furlotti and Giulio Ferrari. Furlotti is an Italian entrepreneur with forty years of experience in the jewelry sector. Ferrari is a skilled craftsman known throughout Italy for his outstanding talent. They are responsible for the design process.
Their vision of creating contemporary pieces for women is embodied in unique techniques that can be seen in collections such as Crescendo, Spettinato and Waterfall.
To create individual designs before the release of new collections, which are created every three months, craftsmen are inspired by such diverse skills as knitting, macrame, crochet, embroidery, batik.
FerriFirenze jewelry is created using diamonds set in 18 carat yellow, white and rose gold. Emeralds, rubies and sapphires sit side by side with semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli, coral and malachite, while the design remains a timeless ode to the craftsmanship and heritage of the great Italian jewellers.
Each owner of FerriFirenze jewelery has lifetime access to the atelier located in Villa Corsi Salviati. This honey stone villa was built in the 16th century. It is surrounded by Renaissance gardens, tucked away in the charming Tuscan countryside north of Florence. The client can return here at any time to interact with the artisans and discover the treasures and techniques that have been preserved over the centuries.
Villa Corsi Salviati is open to visitors. On the one hand, this is a jewelry art center, on the other hand, FerrariFirenze customers can come there and see firsthand how work is being done on their orders. “We try our best to create in our workshop an atmosphere of respect for beauty, Italian food, lifestyle and, most importantly, the craftsmen who help us bring our ideas to life. Now about 25 people work there, and they do absolutely everything – right down to the fasteners. We literally do everything ourselves,” says Giulia Callegari, owner of FerrariFirenze and daughter of co-founder Ilaria Furlotti.
