Eve Llyndorah Design Eve Llyndorah Design is the name of the creative tandem of two Canadian designers – Eva Lindor and Ray Lipowski.
Eva Lindora was born in Scotland. Her family moved to Canada when she was a child. She showed a talent for art and design at an early age, attending the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, graduating in fine arts. Then she worked and studied jewelry in Europe and Canada, and in 1986 she moved to Vancouver.
Ray Lipovsky was born in Vancouver. Studied art and design since the early 1960s, studied and worked with European master jewelers. Then he worked in the Gulf countries, took part in many projects – from construction to jewelry design.
Eva and Ray met in 1990 and soon began their fruitful creative collaboration and family life. They built their home, workshops and garden on the rocky cliffs of the island overlooking the waters of the Strait of Georgia. The energy needed to live and work here is generated by the sun and wind. The rest of the island is a forest reserve.
Eva and Ray have spent their lives perfecting their skills in design and craftsmanship to make the pieces featured here. Each item is handcrafted from precious metals. Many stones are cut in the cutting workshop on the island.
