Ekaterina Sergeevna Komissarova – artist, art historian, designer of jewelry and accessories, graduated from the Irkutsk College of Arts, decorative department, and then the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Repin, faculty of art history.
She worked in the United Arab Emirates, where she was engaged in painting and jewelry making.
In 2014, as a creative designer, she headed the Kavoko fashion house in Dubai, UAE, which produces exclusive jewelry and accessories.
During this time, Catherine’s hands have created more than a thousand pieces of jewelry taken from impressions, stories and books, travels and dreams. Paintings and decorations of Kavoko are even in the house of the royal family of Sheikh Khalifa and all over the world: in Canada, the USA, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Italy, the Czech Republic, France, Russia.
Author’s products of Ekaterina Komissarova are made of Venetian glass, Swarovski crystals, beads and seed beads from the Czech Republic and France, gems and semi-precious stones, corals, pearls, silk, velvet, lace and linen, and most importantly, with a piece of the author’s soul embedded in each piece of jewelry. .
Currently, Ekaterina Komissarova lives in Moscow and continues to develop the Kavoko brand, writes a series of paintings “Emiratomania” and a book about the architecture of the Persian Gulf.
