The company was founded in Oslo (Norway) by David Andersen in 1876. Andersen was a master of working with gold and silver, creating jewelry of very high quality, which brought him great popularity and recognition. In 1901, David Andersen died and his son Arthur Andersen continued his father’s work. In order to maintain the success of the brand, Arthur began to use enamel to decorate gold and silver items. Silver jewelry with enamel in the form of leaves, ships and butterflies were and remain popular.
Throughout the entire period of the brand’s existence, jewelry in the following styles saw the light: Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Art Modern, Modern, Naturalism, Dragonism.
