Blair Delmonico is a brand of designer David Salvatore. He founded it with his mother Blair, who in her youth was a model at the most famous and luxurious department store in New York in the 20th century, Bonwit Teller (1895-1990). The brand’s jewelry was initially sold in major department stores and specialty boutiques, and later on the home shopping channel QVC. Costume jewelry, according to Salvatore, “should be associated with fantasy and fashion, and not with the imitation of exquisite jewelry.” The brand’s jewelry was bold and original, famous for its color and shine.
