Bao Bao Wang was born into a wealthy family in China. Her grandfather was the chairman of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China – in the west, during her studies, she was called the “Chinese Princess”. Wang grew up in a prestigious area of Beijing. At the age of fifteen, she moved to the United States and entered Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied French literature and photography.
In 2007, an author’s brand was created – a company named after the author “Bao Bao Wan Fine Jewelry” began to operate.
The first author’s collection of Bao Bao Wan reflects Chinese motifs and traditions. Subsequent collections are united by an eccentric appearance and a lot of gems. When creating jewelry, the author tries to use a lot of crystals, precious stones and pearls to the maximum.
Lace is a constant decor element of Bao Bao Wan jewelry. Even if this is a ring with a large stone, it must be decorated as much as possible with lace in the style of traditional Chinese ornaments. Pearls are also bordered with lacy gold, which are often found among the masters of the Far East.
