
Anson Inc. Existed from 1948 to 1994. Founder – Olaf Anderson. Marking: Anson in italics. Women’s jewelry began to be produced only in 1968.

In the late 1800s, the company began producing jewelry for consumers. It quickly gained a reputation as one of the leading American jewelry manufacturers due to innovative technology and unique designs. In 1906, Anson was granted a patent for the famous clasp that securely holds earrings and pins.

In October 1983, Anson Inc. declared bankruptcy. That same year, C&J Jewelry bought Anson along with all of its equipment, allowing production to continue.
