The American company Rice-Weiner is best known for its “Thief of Baghdad” jewelry line. Much less common are Jeray, Etrusceana (Etruscan series), “The Jungle Book” and Indo Craft (a brooch from which we talked about a few days earlier).

It is no coincidence that the names of the collections coincide with legendary Hollywood fairy tales. There is a very beautiful legend that director and producer Alexander Korda ordered jewelry from Rice-Weiner for the entire film crew as a keepsake. And they even have the marking “Alexsander Korda”
In the mid-1940s, there was a conflict in the company, half of the artists went to work for McClelland Barclay Jewelry Co, and Rice-Weiner officially existed until 1958.
